E-Rate December 15, 2006 West Covina Unified School District is seeking proposals for the upcoming Year 10 round of E-Rate. The District is soliciting proposals from certified CMAS contractors (please check the ( SERVICE PROVIDER PRE-QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES) for network electronics. The District requires certification by the awarded contractor, prior to project commencement, concerning criminal records check in accordance with California law. Participating contractors must have an active (SPIN) Service Provider Identification Number with the SLD. Proposals must be received by our office no later than Thursday, January 19 th at 5:00 p.m. All proposals must use unit level pricing, and the District reserves the right to award all, part, or none. The actual sites will be listed specific to the proposal that is received and the matching budget that can be allocated based on the overall project cost. This information will be specific to the Form 471 upon award. All award(s) are contingent upon final funding approval from USAC. Proposals must be submitted in writing to: West Covina Unified School District Late proposals will not be accepted. Projects will be awarded by Friday, February 10th, 2007. Proposal Evaluation The district reserves the right to award this project in two ways, whichever allows for the best overall solution to the district:
Prices must be held firm for the duration of the E-Rate Year 10 fiscal year ending June 30, 2008. All requests for information (RFI) should be made in writing via e-mail to Shawn Kohrman at skohrman@wcusd.org. Be aware that all parties will be copied on the questions and responses. |
