Single Plan for Student Achievement

The School Site Council is the organization by which the school community comes together to chart the school's path to improvement. It ensures that the school is continually engaged in identifying and implementing curriculum and instructional practices that result in both strengthing the core academic program and student access to a standards based education. Additional responsibilities of the Council include:

* develop and recommend the Single School Plan for Student Achievement
* review with the principal teachers other school personnel and parents the implementation of the Site Plan
* to assess periodically the effectiveness of the school program
